Avneet graduated in 2010 from India and later on successfully completed his Master’s in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria. He has over 10 years of experience working as a physiotherapist. Not only does he have a broad education and experience, but also an analytical mindset is what defines him. He enjoys treating all types of injuries. Some of his favorite conditions to treat are: whiplash-associated disorders, repetitive injuries, running-related injuries, shoulder impingement, cervicogenic headaches, and hip/pelvic alignment issues.
His treatments are tailor-made to your goals and the approach is usually a combination of patient education, specific exercise prescription, and re-establishing appropriate movement patterns to minimize the likelihood of injury re-occurrence.
He also has extensive experience in prescribing custom orthotics, to correct biomechanical faults and alleviating foot pain.
Avneet is certified in the use of dry needling called IMS for musculoskeletal pain. He has also been trained in advanced manual therapy called Mulligan technique. He has achieved exceptional results using Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy.
