Edna is an RMT student who is passionate about improving the quality of life of individuals with pain and dysfunction. She enjoys helping people regain mobility and maximal function of their joints and tissues.
Edna believes that massage therapy can not only be beneficial in relaxing people but also stimulate the body to repair itself and grow stronger. She believes that massage can be used in tandem with other health professionals to hasten recovery post surgery. Massage in certain situations, may be used as an alternative to non-emergency surgical procedures.
A variety of techniques will be employed to treat conditions from chronic sore and tight muscles due to working at a desk all day to dysfunctions acquired from injuries. Edna would like to work with people who are looking for a solution for their chronic muscle soreness and pain through the use of gentle myofascial and Swedish techniques. Range of motion and strengthening exercises will also be utilized to aid in efforts of continuing patient care post-treatment.
Although her career has barely started Edna aspires to increase the wellbeing of individuals in her community through the use of massage therapy. Edna is always looking for new patients to meet and welcome to her practice. She is always looking for a new challenge to pursue to further her career as an RMT for the well-being of her patients.
